Come out Wednesday night Oct. 1 to honor 7 very talented young ladies. EPHS will play host to NPHS with the game starting at 5:30. 3 of these ladies have committed to play softball into college and the other 4 are entertaining their options.

Lauren D ykes - North Georgia College and State University
Shelby Renfer - University of Central Florida
Kristen Sheffield - Miami of Ohio University
Chryste Amos
Taylor Ellis
Brooke Jenkins
Kristen Stafford

They also play Harrison tonight at home JV starts at 5:00 Varsity to play immediately after, 6:30.

I will be there. It will be a sad but happy night. I understand that some of the football player will be there also. I think that is great. The girls support them so it is nice that they return that support.

It was such a wonderful night! The kleenex came in handy after the coach had a surprise for the senior parents. He had given the girls a ball and told them to write a thank you to their parents on it, then he proceeded to ask one parent to come out on the field, that parent was given the ball and asked to throw out the first pitch. That was the coolest thing I have witnessed. After getting the ball from hubby, I proceeded to read it.....BIG MISTAKE! that was when the tears started falling. It was a great night, thanks to all who were involved in making it special for our seniors!
