EPHS softball off to good start

Team is playing in the Marietta High School tournament and are 3-0 with wins over

EP 8 Chattahoochee 0
EP 14 Holy Innocents 0
EP 18 North Paulding 2

They play tomorrow night at 9 PM.

EP wins 6-1 over Hiram to win the Marietta tournament, behind solid pitching from Lauren D ykes and defense lead by Taylor Ellis, a home run by Christy Amos and a grand slam home run by Shelby Renfer.

Good game ladies. Good pitching, defense and timely hitting.

Way to prove me wrong. I told a GHSA official there would not be any home runs last night, with that wind blowing.
But hey he agreed! 2 monster shots! NICE PITCH!
