Some people chose to send their athelete to North, Why I will never know, unless It was because they would not have any competetion and could be a legend in there parents eyes! JUST HOPE IT DON'T RAIN!!!don't want the field tore up in just a scrimmage.as far as the cannon----it'll go off a couple times.just hope we play well and execute.also,w/ no kickoffs and punts,it is just a scrimmage.

North has some good athletes. They will be fine in time, I dont expect them to take over 13 years to finally win like it did East. Funny how cocky you can get after 2 good seasons.

Didn't the vast majority of North's district once belong to East Paulding? If so, this will hit EP in a couple of years. We had it happen to us when Harrison was built...but the biggest hit came when Hillgrove opened, and 95% of their district was carved out of McEachern, with only a handful of students taken from Kennesaw Mountain and Harrison (I think). Of course, we had 3500 students at the time, and it has ended up being a very, very good thing: we opened this year with around 2400 students, I believe, the lowest ADA numbers we've had in probably 15 years. Not near as few as it was back in my day (1500) but much more manageable.

I think most programs would struggle not to act cocky if they were poor for their entire history and then achieved the kind of turn-around EP has. For the most part, the Raider posters are just excited and enthusiastic on here...it's probably the younger ones who are posting as if EP has won the past 3 state titles.

I'm not only talking about Football, I am talking about the overall athlete in all sports, from what I saw North might of got the better of the product in that class. By the way the freshman football game was 7-6, really a big difference there. Athletically overall I believe North opening will hurt East, this was the weakest freshman class East has had overall in the last 4-5 years because of the split.

All the "Raider Haters" feel the need to take everything to a personal level -- yes, we have a good team -- so what???
