EPHS Baseball game last night? Who won?

Does anyone know who won the play-off game last night between East Paulding and (I think) Salem? Are the Raiders moving on or not?

East Paulding lost 8-7. at one point in the game it was 7-1 and Salem was able to rally back and steal a win like a thief in the night. Although I wasn't able to make it to most of the game, I kept up with the ball team all season long. The Raiders played very well all season, and they always went out there and gave it their all, and thats all you can ask for as coaches and fans. The boys had a great season, wished they could have kept goin but it wasn't meant to be.

Doggone it. I had heard from many people that this EP team was the most talented one they had ever seen. I just saw in the AJC that Salem hit a 3-run homer in the 7th for the win. Too bad...... sad.gif

Congrats on a great season, though - and that #1 ranking in the state was awesome!

EP Boys and Girls have made us proud all year long. Now they get a little break from school and will be ready to do it all over again next year! RAIDERS ROCK!!

What I don't understand is EP has one of the best pitchers around (ZACK WHEELER) when it was 7 to 5 why didn't he bring him in or Adam Hall to finish it.... Booby pitched great but it is the play offs and if you lose your season is over. Oh well great year anyway EP...
