I'm making a big pot of red beans with a ham bone and smoked sausage and some Cajun spices. Gonna serve them with rice. We love red beans and rice!

IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT! Are you cooking or eating out tonight?
I'm making a big pot of red beans with a ham bone and smoked sausage and some Cajun spices. Gonna serve them with rice. We love red beans and rice!

We might be heading out to Tennessee tonight, if we are then we will pick something up and if not we will have the Deer Chili (cause Im picking up the meat after work, and Im so excited haha)

I'm tired tonight and they are SO good & easy!
Sometimes we add sourkraut but not tonight, roasted sourkraut is the best if you have time.
I've tried them with spicey mustard and your right, that's pretty good. A honey mustard (more tart than sweet) is good too.
Tonight we are trying a dark rye (no seeds) we found and not tried before, so we'll see how that goes!
edited to add: We ONLY use "beef" pastrami, can't stand them with the "turkey" pastrami ..... Yes, there is a difference!
