Hiram played at East Paulding Tuesday night. Hiram boys beat EP by about 10. East girls whupped on Hiram 55-30. East JV boys barely won by the skin of their teeth. EP JV girls won big. Hiram boys & EP girls won the freshmen games.

Opinions from anyone who was there?

I was there, the one thing I saw with our guys was, Hiram was too fast for them. We need a little more speed. I sat beside #2 (Hiram)mom and she stated that he has had several D1 colleges to come looking. He had a very impressive game. Our boys will get it together and play well. I can't wait to go and watch more games. Go RAIDERS!

Yes, I was surprised that "lack of speed" was one of the issues for EP. EP ran both Cass & Central off the court previously. EP's point guard's shots weren't falling....many of the players looked like they weren't quite sure what to do in a set offense. Hiram's speed was impressive.

Was surprised at the girls game. Hiram was a much taller team but weren't able to utilize their post players. East is very small but seems well-disciplined and works together very well as a team.
